    Digital beer line flow meter

There's a bar in Townsville that has a flow metered setup with 8 or so taps. Prepay for a card at the bar, tap it one of the taps and pour what you want, charges by the ml from memory. Kind of gimmicky but wasn't bad to try a small bit of a few beers.

    Brisbane brew shops

Can anyone recommend a decent home brew store north side of Brisbane with all grain supplies? Have recently relocated to SEQ and will be starting up again

    Stc 1000 In Pictures

I ordered an "STC-1000" off ebay and instead received a RC-316M which I can not find much info about. Looks the exact same as an STC1000 but different wiring, I've put together an STC1000 without issue following diagrams but not sure about this. This is the wiring diagram, only need cooling...

    New Thermostats. Cheap! Compact!

I've been using one for well over a year with no problems, as has a mate of mine. Only annoying thing is the plug is the opposite direction to the socket, so it was upside down in the powerpoint.

First kit, think I did bad...

Well I gave it a gentle mix yesterday(with a very clean stainless mixing stick) and today it looks like there is much less on the bottom. SG went up a bit to 1.014, tastes a little better now, so I'm happy to give it a bit more time before I bottle. Got everything here to do it again, so...

First kit, think I did bad...

Haha missed this. It very well could be punishment, but I figured I should experience as much of the spectrum as possible, even if in the wrong order...that and I was feeling a bit lazy.

First kit, think I did bad...

No I didn't. I'll remember that for next time, thanks. Might just bottle a few and see what happens. Then start again.

Guess I'll give it a go. Will this mean the yeast start doing their thing again? Edit: I'll definitely give it another go. As I said it tasted pretty good. Just watery. I'll report back when I do it properly

First kit, think I did bad...

Hello all, a couple of weeks ago I decided to try out a homebrew from a can. I normally do BIAB in 9 litre batches but I wanted to see if I could get anything decent from a kit. Did a bit of research and used a can of coopers pale ale plus a brew enhancer. Now I followed the instructions from...
