Possibly bsp thread. You will need to measure o.d and I.d and threads per inch to identify the thread. Alternatively get some fittings of known threads and try them. Cebu is a great place, spent a few days staying at Toledo working at Carmen Copper. Also had a few drinks at Athena ... mmm

I was in a similar position. Bought a really good nick chest freezer for $100 on gum tree (heaps of cheaper ones). Got a stc 1000 controller on eBay for $21 plus another 20 in bits. Attach the probe to outside of fermenter and hold any brewing temp you want. Good thing about chests is cold air...
