Does anyone know of any Australian suppliers of Belgian beer corks and cages.
After lots and lots of searching I have found plenty of suppliers overseas but nothing local.
Cork Sizes are 25.5mm x 44mm
Cages Size is H x Ø lid: 38 x 26.5 mm.
(These are smaller than Champagne corks)

Bit of an older post, but just wondering who does it this way now? And also how long are you letting the finings drop out before you bottle the beer?
Not wanting any in the final product are you allowing to settle out leave for say 3 days at, then bottle? Any issues with under carbonation?
Inside of the electrical control box, the pump is variable speed, I have a PID controller for the HLT hooked up to a RTD thermo & the kettle element also has a variable dial so as that I can control how vigorous the boil is.
Ive just finished welding up all the Stainless pipework including a fabricated stainless heat exchanger bracket and stainless pump cover.
Also fitted the valves

There is one in the CBD and one at the docklands now! Great atmosphere for a 50th, heaps of room for a party that big and i think they have German music on Sat nights
Sooo...... started on building the new kit, will hopefully be finished in the next couple of weeks. Just wanted to start into looking at where to buy my grain and hops. As i don't have a mill yet i will need to buy it already milled.
So who's best to deal with to buy Milled grain and T90 hops...
Just mounted the kegs up on legs. I will just be running a single pump system so ive mount the HLT higher up and this will be just gravity fed into the mash tun.
Next up is to start on the pipe work and mount the pump.
So here it is, me building my first all grain set up.All designed and built in the shed by ME! It has been built on a budget but thought out the whole way through. Most bits & pieces scrounged up from mates, friends, ebay, scrap yards or swapped for "beer credits" :) then bent...
Just built the frame which sits on top of 4 castor wheels. You can see i've already modified the kegs.
The one on the left is my HLT which i think i will end up extending for added volume.
I can get a bit better vision of what im doing now.
Will order some more bits and pieces in for her though....
