    Sodastream to do taste tests

T I couldn't help myself. I tried the method I suggested with the PA in the fridge. A few pointers: Don't treat it like soda water and go for high carbonation. Don't try to carbonate the sample while warm. Cool it down beyond the point you need. Once you've carbed it up leave it for 10 min at...

    Sodastream to do taste tests

When I use my Sodastream in the mornings I often leave the bottle attached for some time after the CO2 is added. I haven't tried it with beer yet but this would be your best bet if you don't want beer all over the kitchen. Try it and report back mate.

    WTB: Plate chiller

I've got one that I'd part with for $80. It's the KegKing Mk3 in good condition. Having just moved house, it's in a box somewhere. If someone wants it I can dig it out tomorrow. edit: pick up from Cammeray NSW.

    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

Mmmmm. Beer is yummy. The average supermarket in Berlin is yielding some pretty tasty brews. We need to compare notes ( and post a few pics of course).

The brewery might not be too happy with this bloke. With that many he may get a visit from the boys/girls in blue.

    Williamswarn Personal Brewery

You Ian, just showed the first sign of a business failing to live up to expectations. Why were they having a crack at doing the marketing? " The reality is that, moving forward and utilising the current market indicators, we have no idea why the KPI's are so low". The product was good, but...

They should've just stuck with the tried and true method of advertising. Hot chick with ******** leaning on said equipment. Simple and straight to the point. Nothing sexist, of course. The apology; -Go and find your testicles Ian. - Tell her you thought it was funny at the time. Soft cock.

I could be wrong, but I read the description as the bench top being plastic? Either way, Ikea sucks unless you do the sensible thing and show up early on a weekday. Plenty of good brewing type stuff in the kitchen areas.

Perlick 545SS Stainless Steel Flow Control Taps - Problems & Solut

So, I finally got around to testing the taps again. The slight catch on the flow control is real if it's reversed. I don't notice it when the tap is connected and there's pressure in the line. It's also possible that the tester became intoxicated during the test and the results are flawed. I...

Perlick 545SS Stainless Steel Flow Control Taps - Problems & Solut

And right now I'm wishing I took a photo of the pluto gun in action on Australia day. Think no drinking hardware at all. Just a bunch of 20 somethings in bikinis getting their fill by mouth courtesy of the boat's captain. A mate built a couch that fit two kegs and ice just for the occasion...

Perlick 545SS Stainless Steel Flow Control Taps - Problems & Solut

Fair play mate. Thanks for the input from several years of experience with different taps. I'm amazed at how much restriction you can place on a highly carbed beer with the perlicks. They work better than I expected. Have you ever had to fix any scuffs on taps over the years? It's poor...

    Murrays Brewery. In Bloom IPA.

I need to start by saying that I'm not affiliated to this brewery. I like to check out places that I visit and this is one area I've been to recently. That is all. I recently did the brewery tour and saw the spent cones of this brew...

Perlick 545SS Stainless Steel Flow Control Taps - Problems & Solut

I wasn't having a go at the 545PCs. I just happened to come into the tap market while the SS version was coming into play. Would you pick the SS over PC if it was available? My comment about the SS version relates to the ability to repair the SS without the problems of replating.

Perlick 545SS Stainless Steel Flow Control Taps - Problems & Solut

Sorry for not getting back on this. I'll need to check later in the week as work getting in the way of beer. Now without having a go at anyone, I bought both of mine from Cheeky Peak. The service was quick and I have not contacted them about any issues. I'm a happy customer who would use them...
