    Cheers once again this is fantastic I used wyeast california lager instead of nottingham's it was a all i had in the fridge. This will be in my "stock" keg from now on sooooooo easy to drink. First time I have used saaz hops and like the soft flavour that match the grain bill.

    making this now looks good first time I have done a 90 min mash and boil. i mash in a esky so had to add a few Lt's of boiling water at 60 Min's then sparged the rest at 90. cheers for the recipe

    cheers again the recipe i was looking at had 90 min mash and 90 min boil and has all pilsner grains but brewed at 18 deg instead of the low pilsner temps. guessing the longer mash and boil time is for the type of grain used. have only been brewing all grain for 4 years now always brewing the...

    just asked a "Dr Carl" question didn't I. 'How come the moon looks bigger on a full moon closer to the horizon'? Think i got it most of the recipes have the one thing in common pilsner malt, needs more time to convert.

    cheers i have a few left over hops and some of them did not want to use again in a brew (chinook) but will try this just to use them up.
