    Priming: Is Any Kind Of Sugar Ok?

    I've heard that normal white supermarket suger shouldn't be used for the main fermentation. Is it OK to use it for priming the bottles for secondary fermentation? Will it have a noticable effect on the taste?

    Why Do We Stir?

    Why does all the advice say to stir the wort lots to get plenty of oxygen in it? Yeast ferments in an anaerobic process, which means it does it without oxygen. Isn't this a contradiction?
