Thanks guys, The tube that goes back into the pot is from the pump, runs through the elbow into another bit of silicon tube then to the bottom of the malt pipe which has a slotted bit of copper pipe in it. I used a stick element thought the bottom so couldn't take the traditional approach. I...

Thanks for the help guys, I'll check the welds for any loose or dodgy looking ones. I had the heater output wired up to an ssr. Led was not lighting for the heater, I've pulled out the LEDs to rewire and resolder them and I'll check the voltage. I've also ordered another ds18b20 to compare. I...

    New 60l Setup

Not wanting to hijack the thread but I thought i'd show you how I've been doing it and it works. Same principal as draining through bottom of pot, but I run it through a false bottom and a pickup so it comes out the side, beer is good. Big W pot for mash with false bottom, just match up the...

I wraped the thing in foil, blue mat, then wrapped the whole thing in tape. Some of the tape is in direct contact with the keg, no issues at all. I was supprised really thought it would melt. Yeah I'll get the pics up soon :icon_cheers:

Yeah its ply. Funny about the steam thing, my mate told me about doing that AFTER I had wrapped the keg  . I layed it out, screwed some pine spacers into it then got a ratchet tie down and basically 'wraped' the thing up and used the ratched to pull it together. Then put the aluminium...
