    KegLand Questions and Answers

Hi KL, I was looking at your 58L kegmenter and it mentions a ball lock post lid for pressure fermenting (KL05890) but I can't find it on your site. Can you tell me about that product? Regards, Dave

    Volt meter wiring

There is a diagram in the link you supplied. The voltage sensing wires go across the load (heater element) and the current transformer has one of the wires to the load passing through the it's core.

    seized keg king silver pump

Mate, sounds like the start winding could be rooted. Single phase motors don't produce any torque when they are not spinning, hence the start windings to simulate a poly phase motor to get it turning. Have you checked the continuity of the start winding? Regards, Dave

I used an old heat belt in my bar fridge that holds a single 30 L fermenter with an STC1000 in a box on top. Kegbot (flow meter and digital taplist) project

Jeez, I never considered that ever happening. Use the FG, so if it were 1.010 then 1 ml would be 1.01 g . That is only 1% so not worth worrying about.

Thread size on mini kegs lid

You also need to know the thread form i.e. flank angle and root & crest shape. You don't need the TPI as you already have the pitch (1.5mm). If you have one (OP) take the lid to a machinist/fitter/tool maker and they will tell you what you need and an probably make it for you as well.

    Swollen cube

Don't forget to pry the o-ring out of the lid and give the lid and o-ring a good clean and sanitise. I have lost a couple of cubes but since being thorough with the lid I have have not had any more issues.
