    50L braumeister for sale.

Unless you need the coin or are planning on giving up brewing altogether, just keep it. If you do sell there will be a day when you go "I wish I still had my braumeister, now I have to buy another one........" :icon_drool2:

    Brewers Asset To Craftbeer Bars?

I 100% agree with that quote. $55 for 6 bottles of beer is testament to that! :D

    Berliner Weisse

I did a 15 min boil, then cubed. When I put it into the carboy, I pitched the lacto first as Jamil said if you want more sourness, pitch the lacto a couple of days ahead of the 011. If you want less sourness, then pitch them at the same time, way less sourness then pitch the lcto when the 011...

    Berliner Weisse

I have just put s BW into a glass carboy, Jamil's recipe, with an OG of 1029. I am using Whiye labs lacto and Euro ale yeast. I added WLP677 first, and after 2 days it is showing a nice krausen. I was just wondering, what would happen if I didn't pitch the WLP011? Would it still ferment out with...

    Extract brew almost completely tasteless?

Yeah, I,ve got that at the moment with a Galaxy, all grain. I left out the dry hop this time, bittered and flavoured to about 35 IBU. I can hardly taste the galaxy. Surely dry hopping galaxy doesn't add all that flavour as well!

    Beermasons, Any Good?

I just bought a Connoisseurs Pack from the International Beer shop. Waiting on a call for payment, but the web site seemed easy enough to navigate through. Hopefully the posting and delivery part is ok too. I read a few online reviews and never saw a bad one. :icon_drool2:

    Wyeast 3191 Berliner Weisse

I've read on the Wyeast site that the temp should be 20 - 22c. I've also read on other forums that the temp range is 13 - 20c. Has there been a change in the yeast or can it go down that cool? Has anyone done a cool ferment and if so, how long did it take to sour? Cheers. :beerbang:

    priming 19l keg

If you can gas, 300kpa for 24hrs in the fridge, put it in warm. That will leave about 100kpa in your beer. If your system is balanced pour at that, if not, adjust down to suit a good pouring pressure. Mine is about 30 - 50 kpa. If you have kegs, you shouldn't need to carb with sugar, use CO2...

    Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Harvest

I found it to be a little musty/mouldy, maybe a wet hop thing or just bad handling? :(

What size flasks do you use for starters?

I normally do a 1.5 litre starter in a 2 litre flask, works well. If the yeast is old I'll start with 1 litre, then step it up. :super:
