Anyone Got A Faulty Brown Pump?

I was going great guns with setting things up. Had my fittings on there, only finger tight. Picked up a length of hose off the bench, not realising the cord to the pump was caught, and it took a swamdive and snapped it off! That sounds awesome! I'll send you a PM and we can work out details!

I think what he is referring to is that if the 3600w element has too much grunt, you can use that to turn it down. Doesnt negate the requirement for the proper circuit

    Kettle Size For Single Batches

I just finished cutting the top off the keg i got off ebay a couple weeks ago. I just measure the capacity of it by fillig it with a known qty of water, and to just below the rim, it is 45l. I have measured, and my 3000w element will fit in there nicely, and the lid off a 20l bigW stockpot...

I dont see how that's going to work. the ssr doesnt turn down the power, it turns it on or off

Which Cheap Kettle To Use For Cheap Elements?

To install the kettle element you simply cut a 32mm (i think) hole in the pot, and use the grommet and screws that originally held the element into the kettle. Better option however is something like this. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251075257559?ss...984.m1439.l2649

    1/2" Copper Maximum Bend Radius

Thanks for the input guys. I saw the coil that Nev is selling, and whilst it's nice, my budget doesnt stretch that far. If 6m is overkill then I wont worry too much about trying to get a specific length in. I'll just coil it so that it fits the pot then, and it'll be what it ends up...
