    Its clever in more ways than one... The angle of the ice chamber allows the jug to be filled with out holding the jug itself at an angle. Therefore any dumb barman/barmaid could fill it without ripping you off with a large amount of froth.

    Here is my make-shift, took me about 1 hour, freezer conversion. As u can see, the shelf is not wide enough. Thats because my original shelf was 5mm too wide and i dont have anything to cut it. So the black laminated chip-board shelf from an old entertainment unit will do the job for now!

    Miracle Box

    Dave, i was pouring off head pressure through 15m of coil in ice, i didnt even add water to make the coil cool quicker. The beer was cold and coming out slowly so i wouldnt bother with a flow regulator yet. Try it out first the same set up as mine and then modify if its not cold enough for you.

But well into the night the beer was still very cold out the tap even after the keg had been out the fridge for 5-6 hours.     Thanks ill go the shake and try method... And geez there are a whole lot of methods out there, the one that uses least gas would suit me as i only have a 1.5kg cylinder. Another question... Immediately after force carbonation, theres not much empty keg room and with a pretty high head pressure...
