    What To Do In Perth?

Glad to hear you had a good time Steve, I have had a similar run in at that place. They just said no to a tour however and then when I quizzed the barman over what the base beer was for the chilli beer he told me it was a wheat and that the hefe was their lager , can't say I stayed there...

    Nylex Food Grade Hose

I use this in my system and have had no problems with it. I use it with the std brass garden hose fittings. Just don't burn yourself on the fittings ;)

    Sandgropers Xmas Case '06

Classic :D To be honest I only suggested the cap as in reality supplying many more than 20 - 30 longnecks is just not going to happen for me. I am happy enough with 1 bottle only if the numbers get big. If it passes 24 its going to be difficult for me to come up with enough beer. I am sure...

How Is Your March Pump Performing

I use mine to 'sterilise' the CFWC by circing the HLT liquor through it for 20mins so if you have a CFWC you may want to consider this.

    Bag Fermenters?

I have heard of these being used in bop places a bit, i guess cleaning would be a PITA for them. Interesting idea but.

    Consumption

Well I just get a liver function test to make sure the sucker is coping with its punishment. I cant imagine 4 - 6 stds drinks a night coming off good at any quack ;)

    Air Locks

I use em. I like to use the bubbling frequency as a gauge of how busy the yeast is. Not essential certainly but I always feel more comfortable with a steady 'bloop' coming from the airlock :)

Time To Save Some Money, Help Me Brew My Own Beer.

If you want to bottle then my advice is buy a bench capper. Best investment you will make. I keg and still wouldn't part with mine.

Sorry to here you have had a bad experience Fingerlickin. I was in there on Thurs to grab some beer line & clamps. The fella there seemed pretty genuine so I would be surprised if it is not sorted.

Keg Force Carb With Carbonation Stone

Doc, I think AusDB has used this technique. From memory he said something about lifting the relief valve periodically to keep the CO2 bubbling to speed things up. Hope you don't overcarb it if you are using a higher pressure than you serve at.
