I run a MM2, and I tighten the thumb screws further with a pair of pliers - otherwise they come loose. Not sure if this is of any help with the MM3 though?

Chaps I hid the other posts on the tasting thread for now. I can bring them back if thats the consensus? Or can move them to this thread if need be.

Recovered from draining kegs during the superbowl... so hoping to sample a few of these in the coming days.

I used beer line on both in and out connections - but I have not used this for years, as I now use my 9L kegs. Still have the unit in the shed though.

Plastic smells could be a wild yeast infection too.

To fix them, you need to cut into them at the base - something that is not ideal imo. Awesome Fury has also gone through a few of these elements also with similar issues to NickB as I understand. With the RIMS system you can get away with higher element heat densities, as the liquid strips...

Leave it on the yeast cake to allow the yeast time to clean up after itself. Then chill down to near zero for as long add you can justify then rack beret odd and harvest yeast for next batch.

Approx internal dimensions mate? Could be keen.
