Yes, its a transfer. Very good quality. Not worth trying to make a stencil and paint. Ha ha, that toy could be my mascot!!!

    Keg Fridge Project Complete

Ha ha, the foliage had to be done. My wife made me! And if that's all it takes to get approval for a four-tap Kegerator, so be it! ;-)

    Keg Fridge Project Complete

Well, after finally pulling my finger out, the fridge is complete. First time I've attempted anything like this. Spray painting the fridge was the most nerve racking task out of all of them but came through well. It really wasn't that hard in the end. So if you're considering it, get on with...

Flat Rock Brew Cafe - Naremburn NSW

Yes, good little bar. Yet to try their own beer but I was given a tour of the brewing equipment downstairs when they were running their trial batches through it. I want a turn!!!

help, my beer isn't very good.

Can you describe it a little better and give us some insight into your process? Recipes? The most common first brewing problems are usually related to inadequate sanitation of equipment and/or lack of temperature control during your ferment. These will usually result in a beer that most would...

    Fermentation Temperature Vs Fridgemate

Not sure if this will add much value but I use a 1.25L glass bottle with water in it and place my probe in that. The glass bottle sits right next to my 20L jerry can fermenter in the fridge, which is a small bar fridge. I've found that this stops any wild swings from opening the door, etc...

    Pimp My TapKing

Ok, went down to my local ENZED in Brookvale. Managed to find some 1/4" MFL to 1/4"MFL fittings. $3.25 each, Orsum! This is ideal for me as I prefer using the JG fittings. I've connected my Partykeg charger for now until I order a minireg.

    Fridge heating

I use one of these inside my fridge connected to my STC-1000. If you actually put a fermenter on it the wort would get very warm. High 20s. However, I just sit it in the back of the fridge on its side. It heats the air inside my bar fridge and is very capable of putting out enough heat to...

    First Pumpkin ale.

Here's mine. Absolute winner with many friends. Admittedly more women prefer this than men... ;-) The Pacific Hallertau added a faint buttery note that complimented a mild pumpkin flavour. Wonderful! Recipe: 13-08 Jack's Lantern (Pumpkin Ale) Recipe Specifications...

    Friday 13th - Black IPA

Yeah, I don't add Dex to my Black IPA either. But mine always finishes at 1.014 which is ok. Not as dry as others may prefer but most people who have sampled it enjoy it so it must be alright. I'm happy with it. I use 1056.

    First Pumpkin ale.

This was the stuff I used: http://www.usafoods.com.au/s.nl/it.A/id.9178/.f I used 2 x 822g cans in my 20L brew. Fantastic stuff. I actually picked them up while I was in the USA. You can order it from this site but its a little pricey.
