same, myself and two mates went thirds in a 100L barrel. we take off 20% each year (20 litres split between three ppl) then we top it up with another 20L if something different. each year is different to the one before and every year we have never been dissapointed.

also give kellybrook winery a call, not sure about whole apples but they defiantly sell unfermented pure apple juice made the traditional press way from their own cider apples, expensive (approx $3 per litre) but good. also dont forget their cider festival is on the first weekend of may!

Yep good experience, was there for a bucks day just recently, ribs were great! As stated before its a pretty standard brewery but imo its a tad larger than say a 'mountain goat' type brewery. Guy who ran our tour didnt really know the complete ins and outs of it so dont go asking the hard...

I love dimmies! fried, steamed or BBQ'd. Dont have to be fancy ones, a generic dimmie is a god send when you are hungover.

IMO Drop the Carafa and Choch and replace with 5% midnight wheat (dehusked black wheat) if you can get it..... personally i like as little roast flavours in a black IPA as possible but thats just me.
