DMS = vegetal.

I use air popped corn and love it for its subtle flava and simplicity. Never much more than 5/6 % though.It thins the mouth feel and adds a subtle sweetness that compliments that crystal sweetness.

What temp do you mash at deaves?

Out of curiosity ,did your efficiency alter or Was SG different with wheat from carapils? I would expect a 5% carapils wort would have an SG with body from dextrins,where as wheat with a greater extraction efficiency and head from protiens would yield a higher SG and possibly lower FG. Beers...

How do they compare Flavourwise? JW has always worked for me,and the only time I used BB(thanks Roach) was with the TTaylor yeast and it was mashed a little low for the yeast and turned out thin and dry.Not really a true indication of its potential.

Huh :huh: If you have to pull out a 1/3rd and recrush,I would presume you already have a mill! Why not just crush it all yourself to begin with(to your satisfaction) dispense with the ordinary shop milling?
