Too much head...... in my beer guys, come on!

How long are your beer lines? What temp is the beer at? What taps are you using? How did you carb the keg? Going to need a bit more info. Edit: beaten by manticle

    Wiring Temp Control into Fridge

I'd be putting a nylon screw or something in the door/flap that the controller is behind. Don't want a drunk mate getting curious and opening it up.

Using water from gas hot water system for water

Put water from your hot tap in a mug, let it cool and then drink it. If it tastes OK then you should be good. If it has any off tastes to it then don't use it as the of flavors may effect the resulting beer.

One beer Migraine / hangover wtf?

Drink more and make the hangover worth while? Could just be withdrawal since you've had a bit of a break, and one beer is then just teasing your body so it gets you back.

Stored Yeast Slurry Smells like Champagne or Acetyladehyde

Given a starter is basically a mini ferment, it will have the same of flavors/smells as a beer that was fermented under the same conditions. It will probably taste really oxidised too (depending on exactly how your doing your starter). Nothing to worry about if your not pitching the entire...

    Malt Mechanics 30L conical

Might be a really dumb question, but how do you have trub that needs draining before fermenting?

    Kegging Setups

Are you force carbing your kegs? Or are you lowering the pressure on the reg? Either of these can cause it to creep if the keg is carbed above the "balance" for the level you have the reg set to as gas will start coming out of the beer. The nrv should theoretically stop the additional...

My worst fear about my kids has been realised

Like a few people have said already is probably just words being twisted around. My kids do the same stuff, turning a simple "yeah sure [now go away]" into a magical world where i suggested it to them and I've insisted that have do it. It's probably a case of talking about video games, the...

    Who Uses a Hop Sock/Bag

I used one when I started out ag brewing in a 19l big w pot to maximise the wort I could get out of it, but haven't bothered since moving up to a larger system.

    Brewers yeast?

What do you have to lose by trying? You can always ferment out a small amount of wort in a coke bottle or something to see how it tastes, no need to step it up to a full batch size so you don't waste a batch. You may have just found the best strain of yeast known to man (or maybe just a...

Hmm, whirlpooling in a kettle in a centrifuge. I'm sure someone around here is crazy enough to try it.

    Kegs frozen

The beer will be fine. You might need to leave it for a bit for the carbonation to settle, but it shouldn't need more gas to carb it up as the co2 is still there (assuming you haven't opened the keg of course)

    Temperature stuff up

The pale ale will be fine, off flavors are generally thrown in the early stages, raising the temp towards the end can actually help clean up the beer (24 is a bit high, but not really out there) The wheat beer will probably end up with some good banana esters (yumm), so really depends what you...

WTB: Hinged stainless false bottom for keggle

I use one of these collapsible steamer baskets. Think I got it from target for about $10 a few years back. https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQOXfoTiVuWjiaL9crg2c8K7tlV2ZvXWwkBwH7w-Ojy3kpaas7GcQ Edit: attempted to fix image. Edit2: well that didn't work. Not sure how to...

    Possible leaking regulator

OK, if the kegs are shut off, then my only other thought is how long are you leaving the gas turned on for before turning it off? I know with my reg, the low pressure side jumps to just below the set pressure fairly quickly, and then creeps up the rest of the way slowly. If your shutting it...

    Possible leaking regulator

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, but if the beer in the keg wasn't 100% carbed to the level that corresponds to the reg setting, wouldn't the beer absorb more co2, dropping the pressure on the keg side, which would then be raised by moving gas from the high pressure side of the reg, and since...
