Care to link it? a few posts up there a several links to MP-15 pumps on aliexpress. None of them claim high temp or offers a single unit shipped for $70.

Here's an MP-15, not sure if it's a special high temp or what, it looks the same as the MP20 you linked though, with the same description. If you tick electromagnetic, low pressure, water, standard then you can see a whole bunch of them, the 10RN,15R,20R,20RX,30RX,40R look the most interesting...

don't try using a plate chiller designed for wort, they're not meant to be run at high pressure, and you will split them (it's been done!) and they won't work well anyway since they're designed to have counterflow liquid. Instead get a cold plate, these things are designed for jockey boxes...

Are there other types of temperature sensors that could be read by mathos shield (with appropriate code modifications of course) that have a higher max temperature? I tried searching but wasn't very lucky, then again I have no idea what to look for (just searched for digital temperature sensor)...

Found this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/320995231906 for flashing arduino. Seems to be the same as the littlebird ones linked earlier but a heap cheaper. Unlike the other cheap ebay one linked, this one has a socket instead of pins, so can interface with our bonjuinos more easily :)

Yeah I've been doing a bit of reading too :) in here http://www.electrocube.com/products/rcnetw...rc_networks.asp it suggests that you should put the rc network across the switch in a DC circuit, and across the load in an AC circuit... but then other places (like your link) suggest that across...
