I'm slowly convincing mates that the homebrew way is a way better beer than anything you can buy over the counter... It doesn't take much effort as most of them generally drink extra dry, new, or the green cans (won't mention names)... But recently I've found that if we have a bit of a gathering...

Geez... With about a dozen brews under my belt I've had about 5 or 6 go off... And the there was the gusher incident... Its not too fun cleaning a couple of longnecks worth of beer off the wall thats on the other side of the room! :angry: Cheers, Andrew

I forgot that Mike... Cracked it open earlier... Had a bit too much head while pouring (but you've just correcyed my stupid mistake) but other than that it was quite nice, easy drinker for the warmer months and the head lasted the whole glass... I think you might be onto something mate! :beer:

Found the Braidwood ESB on tap at the Royal Cricketers Arms on saturday night... Just didn't get a chance to try it... Bloody designated driver! :angry:

Hi guys, it was great meeting up yesterday and being able to put some faces to names. Soon as I got home all the beer was in the fridge ready for tasting a.s.a.p. At the moment I'm tasting Barls' Vanilla Bean Amber Ale, and I must say, it's a good drop, not too overpowering with the vanilla...
