How Long Would A Primary Last On The Yeast Cake?

How long has it been brewing? Is it in its first week at the moment? I am thinking 2 weeks fermenting, 2 weeks chilled (eg 2-4degC). Do you have a normal fridge that you can whack the fermenter into? This will keep it A-OK! :) (such an 80's saying...).....& make sure to check if fermentation...

I was expecting big things as its the first "full AG" i have ever done, I just didnt make it :) but simply fermented it. Anyway...

    Giveaway Bottles Pickup Bribie Island

I would have taken them all for sure, that is IF we werent 1000 odd km away from each other! At least the glass ones anyway. The green bottles sounded great for my lagers and the coopers would be spot on for case swaps which I hope to start getting into next year rendo

    Gonna Have A Go...homebrand Kit...

Polk, Kelby has nailed it! Dont boil the kit, no need. Just get 5L and boil 500g of LDME in it. Then start your hop schedule from when it reaches boiling pt. I always have some (15L-20L @ ~12degC) chilled filtered water (brita jug) in a 20L willow cube that I popped in the fermenter fridge the...

    Home Brew Taste

For sure, carapils is great, I find that using carapils(about 100g - 300g) , along with 500g-1000g of LDME and 300-400g of wheat malt powder gives a great head that lasts the whole glass...depending on so many other factors too of course.....
