Anyone used this yeast? Brewing a Vienna lager later this week and thought I might give this yeast a go. Any tip or tricks with this yeast? What temp do people ferment at? Thinking of fermenting at 12C, but looks like the range goes up to 16C.
Cheers.
Did you complain about the Belgian Blond? Similar thing happened to me 6 months ago. I had one of the Belgium ales, could have been the blond - can't remember, and it was infected and undrinkable. I thought about complaining, but it was only a tasting glass and the bar staff were all kids so...
It'll be a real shame to sell all your gear, you've got some nice stuff. Takes years to accumulate brewing equipment but days to get shut of it. Hopefully you can find a way to keep your stuff and keep on brewing
Nice video.
What temp sparge water did you use?
Not sure if you covered it at the end, my PC dropped out after about 21mins, but how do you clean the braumeister? It looked nice and shiny like it was brand new at the beginning.

Went to Yardbird a couple of days ago. It's OK, nothing special. Beer choice is OK, they had Coopers, White Rabbit, My Wife's Bitter and something else on tap. Spoke to the barman and he said that they have only been open 3 weeks and hoping to get more craft beer on tap soon. Sunday special of...
Which way did you go with the hop choice, and how's it tasting? I did an APA with Stella late addition, still in the fermenter but tasting pretty good.
I use whatever bottles I have - different sizes and some PET some glass, that's one reason for bulk priming. Another reason is i brew a lot of English style ales and find even 1 carbonation drop is too much.
I'm going to move from carbonation drops to bulk priming with dextrose. There are a few threads on here giving instructions for bulk priming by racking into a secondary fermentor with priming sugar prior to bottling, but what do people do with lagers? Do you rack into a third fermentor and add...
yeah my ESB was my lowest score with 15. Thought it was going to be up there as my highest. All other bottles tasted good, must have just been a bad bottle.
Got the feedback in the post today. Some useful comments and excellent feedback. Thanks guys. And I must apologies to the guys judging my ESB - sorry for sending in a rotten one!
