made up my slants last night took them out the fridge to innoculate with some yeasties and within an hour they had turned to liquid ! Had to use gelatine cause cant get agar up here even used 1.5 times the amount just to be sure F@#K anyone got any ideas on how to use gelatine ? my wort was...

I use SN9 all the time and in mho the stuff is that quick that nothing can survive , only yeast to use for stuck ferments in non beer brews too :D

The 2 piece airlocks sold as senior air locks are alot better than the S style supplied with fermenters , since changing i have had no probs taking samples also +1 to using starsan in the airlock.

Hi all i just got my first liquid yeast to do slants with , i have everything i need but just got an email from Proscitech saying my tubes are going to be about 4 weeks , has anyone got 6-10 tubes i can buy or borrow till mine come ? im getting the 50ml screwtop sterile autoclavable thanx.
