I would not mind tracking down a couple of 1/2" SS BSP compression fittings. Geordi Stainless and T&S valves do not stock this type of item - I was going to give a group like pirtek etc a buzz.. However has any one come across this type of fitting in their travels. Regards Mark WS

Thanks for the responses - I ordered some from more beer last night plus some silicon tubing as mentioned by doc as the 'stuff to use' for hosing. As I suspected the local suppliers do ask alot of money for these items in comparision to the US groups. A few more steps closer to AG's. MWS

last week I went to T&S Valves (NSW) for a couple of SS 1/2" valves. I purchased a 316 SS 3/8" elbow with compresion fitting for around $20. Definately not as cheap as brass but SS is nice!!!! - so I purchased 1 to test drive of course!!!!!! regards MWS

I am considering using 1/2" full port bsp valves on my AG set-up. I know the rule of thumb is that BSP and NPT are not compatible althought there are minor differences between the two thread types - such as thread pitch. However many comments via google indicate that you will not truely notice...

Has anyone purchased polysulfone plastic 1/2" QC in Australia except at possibly more beer (USA) and the /grain and grape? Regards MWS
