You're pretty on the money there. At law, when it comes to abandoned goods it is essentially finders keepers unless the council can prove a manifested intent to completely control the nature strips. The only thing that would negate this is if there is a council bi-law or legislation somewhere...

Just tried this yesterday. High carbonation and a fairly distinct champagne-like mouth feel. I could see how some people might be disappointed if they were expecting to be blown away by this beer. It's a tasty Belgium Strong Ale but I wouldn't really consider it anything ground breaking.

Just had the EKG ale off hand pump at Archive. Although it's not a style a widely enjoy, the hand pump definitely helped and I knocked back two pints without complaint.

Just had the Punk Monk off tap at Archive. Definitely one of my favourite beers of the summer. It's somewhat hard to describe, it's not quite a blonde ale as there is more bitterness than you'd expect but it still goes down very nicely.

That's why you guys should have got into brewing at an early age :P

Really? Tastes nothing like the Duke pale ale that I've encountered before. I was never a fan of either Duke beers.

Archive just announced on Facebook today that you can grab a bottle. Apparently it won't be on tap until the Ministry of Beers event next weekend (26th) though.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I've had all those IPAs and definitely enjoy them. Perhaps there will be one out there that will change my mind on this style.

Yeh, I'm referring to the less hopped cousin of the IPA. The stock standard English pale just doesn't do it for me.

Tried it on tap at Archive a few nights ago. I find it hard to give an accurate assessment because I really dislike this style of beer. I find English pale ales to be very bland and whilst I'm sure they've done a decent job of being true to the style it's not a beer I'll visit again.

The variety is what keeps me going. Whilst the variety in the market is certainly increasing it usually comes at a higher cost so it's much cheaper to simply sample a range of styles that are commercially brewed then have a crack at doing it yourself. Once you've learned the ropes of brewing...

From the reviews I've read it sounds like a Belgium strong ale.
