    Online Beer Shops

The Red is also the first on my list to try tonight. Didn't mind the brubar, don't think I'd bother buying any though.

    Online Beer Shops

Becoming a Beermasons member is also a good way to try a number of brews from around the world that you can't easily get your hands on otherwise. https://www.beermasons.com/default.asp?

Beer Tips For Trip: Montreal, New York, Boston, Toronto, Ottawa

You can also do a tour of the Harpoon brewery in Boston. It cost about $5 and at the end you get to sample all their beers. As for NYC, there is a brewpub in/around the Times Square area called Heartland Brewery. I honestly can't remember anything more specific about the location but they did...

Stone & Wood Kellerbier On Tap At Brisbane German Club

As if there wasn't already enough reasons to visit the German Club. Will definitely have to drop by soonish.

Pete Tells It Like It Is

This trend also seems to be a result of the ridiculous amount of young blokes that now drink the bright red/pink/yellow/green cruisers along with all the girls. I went to a 21st recently and the pre-mixed drinks disappeared within an hour and a half as most of the blokes were drinking them...

    Made From Beer

I don't think there's any real intent behind it. It's just one of those buzz slogans that sounds catchy but doesn't actually mean anything. Alternatively they could be suggesting that carlton draught is some kind of super beer, where the brewers make a beer and then use that as an ingredient to...

    Archive Beer Boutique (brisbane)

It was the Rocks Boxer Red Ale on Saturday night but they had to change the keg over so I'm not sure what it is at the moment.

Congrats Bacchus, I thoroughly enjoyed the ninja and obama drops. Was definitely a great day. I think the setup was better than the International Brewers Day setup from last year too.

    Stc 1000 Temp Controller

I'll give that a go if I can get these warped screws out of the box. First attempt wasn't successful.

Lookin' For A Good Commercial Stout!

I'll lend support for the Coopers Best Extra and the Mountain Goat Surefoot. My two favourite Aussie stouts.

    Stc 1000 Temp Controller

Constructed mine today and tested it tonight. All is in working order. The only slightly annoying issue I had is that the screws that came with the jiffy box are very soft so when I screwed the lid on it warped the screw heads. Not sure if I'll be able to remove the lid now so I guess I'm lucky...

    Apparent Beer Doesn't Age Well?

Let's drink to that! Experts finally reveal the scret of fresher beer I don't really know much about the chemical reactions in a brew but this article doesn't seem too well informed to me.

    Stc 1000 Temp Controller

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mini-Digital-Temper...=item2c5afd49d6 This guy took about 1.5-2 weeks to get it to me. I thought that was fairly reasonable from Hong Kong.

    Archive Beer Boutique (brisbane)

I looked into getting tickets for the Like A Boss beer academy a few days ago but apparently it's sold out already. I guess I underestimated the amount of people keen to get a sample of the Bismarck. Thankfully I could still get some tickets for the beer festival.

Why Did You Start Brewing? Can You Answer These Questions?

    1. My dad used to brew a little back in the day and showed me how to get started. I keep brewing because I can make great beers cheaply and it also gives me a better understanding of the other beers I drink. 2. My dad gave me his old gear and I picked up the other necessary stuff from a local...

    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

Yeh, I just looked around my local (Brisbane) craft bottle shops and couldn't find it. Fortunately I was able to order one from Slowbeer though.

    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

Just out of curiosity Mitch, where did you get the Portamarillo? I'd love to get my hands on it if it's still floating about.

Am actually tempted to go to this, considering a bottle of the Bismarck would set me back more.
