Hi all, I'm looking for a fridge to hold my fermenter as the summers up here in Brissie are not kind to fermenting yeasts. If anyone has a fridge they're willing to sell that would fit the pictured fermenter then let me know here or via PM...

Got in last night and was lucky enough to try the Belgian Wit and the India Black Ale. That black IPA is wonderfully balanced with an amazing hoppy aroma. Definitely a beer I could drink all the time.

I didn't quite realise how far away it was until I went for a leisurely 40min drive today. Quickest method would likely be helicopter.

Also the Belgian Bier Cafe in the city, expensive but a good range of tasty drops. There's also the Laneway Bar in the city, it's smallish but has a few not so common beers.

Very interesting beer. Reminds me of christmas cake. Dominant cinnamon flavour, maybe a little roasted malt and a bit of ginger.

They are both amazing... I still lean a little more towards the Trois Pistoles though.

Found this at Grand Central Cellars in Brisbane: A nice nutty flavour, not as rich as I was expecting but tasty nonetheless. I'm not really a fan of the brown ale style but I could certainly sit back and enjoy a couple of these before the need for something super hoppy takes over.

Definitely. I was surprised at how little head I got from that tripel. Even my over carbed pale ale afterwards didn't retain much head.

It's about $7 a pint here in Brissie, depending on where you go. I see the point that it's not really at the same level as the other DIPAs out there but it's not exactly the first time a beer has been mislabelled by a brewery/marketing campaign. From a purely critical standpoint I'd say it sits...

Anyone in Brissie interested getting their hands on a few bottles should check out Festival Cellars in Red Hill. They've got a good supply compared to some of the other bottle-o's I've seen.

Amazing beer. Sampled it last night off the tap at Archive. Easily the best LC beer they've made. Not that I didn't enjoy the others.

Couldn't resist my curiosity and ordered one of these. Should be here in the next few days.
