Got into the Scratch last night. Very enjoyable atmosphere and the guys there definitely know their beer. The only downside was we had to stand in line for about 15min to get inside. That was easily made up for after the first glass of Bacchus raspberry oatmeal stout. Fantastic drop.

Well Lion Nathan is owned by Kirin so I would assume they handle any other beers under the Kirin umbrella.

I wouldn't say the megaswill are necessarily bad beers, just bland. Lagers are bland in comparison to ales and all the big producers do is make more of the same and simply switch out the marketing angle. I certainly don't look down on anyone that prefers a VB over an IIPA or Belgian Tripel, I...

I enjoyed it for the sheer novelty. Not generally a fan of these spiced/xmas beers though.

Just had dinner there tonight... Black IPA is still there and tasting beautiful.

Had lunch there yesterday. The steak burger is bloody tasty and went down nicely with a sunny coast porter and 4 degrees pale.

Once upon a time these breweries put out some really amazing beers. I don't know if much has changed with Little Creatures but James Squire is defnitely not the same brewery/beers since Lion Nathan took over.
