    Hopsta's Brewery & Keg Fridge

It's taken me two years of buying bits and pieces here and there, but i've finally finished my AG brewery :super: I couldnt have done it without the AHB resources and Pumpy's ex brewframe which he so kindly gave me. Thanks again Pumpy  I'm christening it tomorrow with a golden ale...

    Ash's Brewery Progress

They are noisy if you run them dry. When i first recieved mine i plugged it in for a couple of seconds to make sure it worked and it screamed. Running them dry is deffinately not good for them.

    Hop Plantation 2005

I have my hop plants in pots i cut the bines off a few inches from the ground at the beggining of winter. They stayed green and a few shoots popped up but now most if not all the shoots have died off. Is this normal? Is the rhizome still alive underground and just "hybernating" over the winter...

    What Could This Be?

I think i was using S-23 and it may have got a bit warmer that i would've liked, didnt have my mashmaster temp controller at the time. You've never seen those floaties on top of a lager voosher? I shouldnt call it a full Krausen but its deffinately yeast.

    What Could This Be?

Looks to me like whats left of the krausen. I had the exact same looking stuff floating on top of a lager i made a few months ago. Nothing to worry about IMO.

    Cascade First Harvest (2006)

Hey Slugger, yeh i've had a few thought it was a pretty nice drop not worth $14 for 4 though. I had to try it though because it had ember, nova and galaxy hops in it. I remember discussing these mystery hops in another thread, ross sells them but none of us could find flavour or aroma...

    Hlt Element Fixed Or Immersion?

Good question TL i was wondering the same thing. I think it was Jez who mentioned 4108C but i'd prefer one with a hook, im guessing the hook is for hanging it over the side of kettle/keg?
