Qld Xmas In July 2007 - Case Consumption

You guys had better stop this as Mrs frogman reads these reviews and she has asked as to why I need to move to A.G. if I can make beers as good as these just using a tin and not taking a whole afternoon. NAAAAAAAAAA don't stop I really enjoy proving people wrong ("Nobody can make a good K&K...

    Portable Keg Charger

I've got one used it a few times then got a soda stream cylinder for party system use. It worked ok but was a bit of a pain in the arse, having to top up every couple of pours. Not a bad way to get your portable system up and running. I might start re-using mine when I get my half size keg just...

    Confession Of A Home Brewer

If its that bad get yourself another fermenter and tip it out as youll need the bottles soon enough. Or get a keg system then you can blend. But why spoil a good beer by blending it with a bad one. CHUCK IT. THE LAWN WILL LOVE IT. FROGMAN

Chest Freezer Collar.... How Do I Make One?

Any computer repair place should be able to help you out. If you have an old mobile phone charger take that with you and tell the guy what its for. FROGMAN

    Sour Orange Chocolate Porter

I think bottling it may be the go. Not sure Ross would be able to spare a keg to let it age for up to 12 months. FROGMAN. Edit=added pic.

Qld Xmas In July 2007 - Case Consumption

It is a K&K. Worse still its a Black Rock Pilsner, 1kg dex, US56 and 60gms hops. If only I could remember which hops it was (made two batches side by side using different hops). Fermented at 18 for 2.5 weeks, chilled to 1 for 3 days then bottled with castor sugar. FROGMAN.

    What's On Tap?

I think you can buy a soda stram contentrate that you mix with soda water to make tonic, check out wollies or big dub next time your (or someone) is shopping. If not ask at your local for a little left in the post mix box next time they change it. Once again just mix with soda. FROGMAN.

Bulk Buy: High Pressure Lpg Regulators

Mine arrived today. Cant wait to fire it up. Now just need a burner that can cope with it. Don't think my 2 ring gas burner will cut the mustard. Will come in handy in the near future when I move to the dark side. Thanks Again, FROGMAN

How's This Cold Weather Treating Ya?

Cooler weather brings brewing costs down. Two ciders and a vanilla porter in my fermenting fridges at the moment. Neither fridge even turns on, sitting at a constant 16 degrees. Might try a lager next in one of the fridges. FROGMAN Edit = Speeelllliingg
