Be careful with those black pots...they can fry the roots on a hot sunny day. Shade cloth or similar around the pots will help.

Great question. I have 2 of their controllers and they are reading 5C apart at 20C. How do you calibrate them? Google has been no help.

You'll mostly get flavour additions from the hops the way you are planning to use the hop back. A big aroma hit comes from dry hop additions post fermentation, although some articles I've read recently have brewers using hop additions during fermentation as well. If you don't want to muck...

It's something I deal with every year. Get on it! It can spread quickly to all plants. You can spray the underside of the leaves with various things, just google it. At my size field, I have to bring in predatory insects.

This is a different issue. Could be nutrient deficiency, but it looks like spider mite damage to me.

Yeah, the main bine burrs can come on early. This happened to me a few years ago. They ended up being giant.

Third year and strong growth here in VIC. Still training and cutting back, but also need to get back to yard maintenance. The heat this week really brought it on. Chinook is always the last out of the ground and first to hit the top wire.
