    Recommend a 4 way CO2 manifold?

Mine is leaking now. Not going to bother replacing/fixing it, have a solid brass tee on the way

    Ditch my fermenter

No need to move to "secondary". Sure move to one if your bulk priming and bottle straight from there. If your worried about clarity cold crash and use some gelatin. If gluten free is your go use polyclar

    Ditch my fermenter

Step up to all grain. You won't look back its not that hard. And not that expensive if you go biab

Best option for a new fermenter

Can't go past the old Bunnings 30lt drum with gladwrap. Simple to clean fill with water and perc and leave to soak overnight then just hose it out thoroughly. Then just a spash of starsan on brew day and your ready to roll again

Little Creatures Dog Days Is Back!

Not a bad beer i like it knocked quite a few back when the craft beer bar at the local club had it on tap

    What are you listening to

Currently having a beer at the bar listening to the viper creek bands new album just press play. Great band, they are a country rock band from newcastle. Im pretty much into everything from megadeth to "the new country" (none of this budgie died and fell off the perch stuff)

    Stainless Pluto Gun

Next to no wastage in comparison to a tap at ambient on first pour, as its kept cold in the fridge. Operate it the same as a tap at the correct serving pressure (full on full off) and you won't have an issue. I'm happy with my decision to buy one of these instead of putting a tap in the door of...

    Labelling kegs

Always got a carton of some sort around at the time, so just tear a bit off, and cable tie the piece of cardboard to the keg handle. Does the job. When the cable ties i was "given" from my previous employer when they made me redundant run out ill probably just use masking tape

    Off the shelf go-to beers

Basically any of the nail brewing core range. Their red ale and stout is bloody brilliant, dunn brown, golden ale and nail ale is also quite good. Fall back is coopers

    extended time in secondary.

Hmmm few too many beers this arvo it would seem. Missed that part of the title. And the part about bottling it would seem. As you were lol

    extended time in secondary.

By the sounds of it you keg, so i would be getting that beer out asap and dry hopping in the keg in a sanitised bag or at a pinch chux cloths. At 7 weeks its dangerously close to infection and/or autolysis

    BIAB question. Sparging

If your doing full volume i think it's a waste of time . Big beers approaching the limits of your setup yeah sure but I don't really see the point in doing a sparge on full volume. Just give it a good stirring on the way up to mashout sees me repeatedly hitting my numbers within a couple of points
  17. P

    What's your best mash efficiency?

Most brews i hit about 83% full volume biab on both my keggle and double batch rig. I'm pretty happy with that using the basic gas fired rigs im running with no recirculation

looking to get into kegging/pluto gun, need advice

Pin locks can be purged you just have to disconnect the gas disconnect and push down on the poppet carefully with a screwdriver. Yeah its a bit more of a pain than ball locks but it can be done

Storing cubes when not in use

I just soak mine with some perc then drain and let air dry completely then just screw the cap back on to keep crap out of it. Quick hit with starsan on brew day and its ready to roll
