    iSpindel Digital Hydrometer

It's not on the free version, only the paid. I use Brewfather with my iSpindel and it works really well.

    Anyone Using Brewfather?

People should be rewarded for their good work, don't be a tight arse and support it.

    Fermzilla

With these vessels, how do you take a sample for your hydrometer?

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I'm simply asking if I and others can be informed of the new features of the product. Not really an outrageous request and one that Kegland can of course decline. Why it needs you chiming in with your rant is beyond me, I might be a baby but at least I'm not a compete ********.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I don't see the video as promotional, I see it as informing the buyers what they are getting. It can't be the same product as you designed 12 months ago, there must be changes so it would seem reasonable to know what they are. Are the accessories all add ons to the basic model or if you want...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Any chance of a video on the FermZilla? I seem to recall you guys taking about various options with the tank such as a thermoweld etc ?

    Growlers......what's your approach

I use a beer gun (from Kegland) and fill 330 or 500ml bottles. Takes a little bit of practice but works well and other than the beer gun and a few connects you don't have to buy anything else as you probably already have bottles.

    GUTEN

There is mash tun space which is the amount of water sitting below the false bottom. I have this at 8 L. I would set the lauter setting to zero.

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

Yes, unbiased views on this topic are hard to come by! For what it's worth, I bought the Guten when it first came out, main attraction at the time was the introductory price which was a bargain. I've done quite a few brews on it since and its been great, coming from stove top BIAB which was a...

Downgrading from 3v herms to BIAB or Robobrew?

I moved from BIAB to a 1V vessel last year (Guten) and it's been well worth the investment. My BIAB was stove top and ended up a pain in the arse and a bit messy and heating without burning the bag and so on. The Guten is just a simpler, cleaner, easier process that produces great beer. I...

Do you have a link to the beersmith recipe (or a picture or something)? Got my interest with your very enthusiastic review!

    Where to stay in Brisbane?

I was on Brisbane with work the last few days. I tried Felons, it's a swanky looking place on the river. The beer was rubbish. Really bland, catering for the wider market to recoup the investment I'd imagine.

    Where to stay in Brisbane?

When I'm in Brisbane I like Green Beacon Brewery. Some very nice beers in their brewpub.

    Balter IPA Clone

Have a look at this. Haven't brewed it yet.

    Chillers.

I like immersion just simply because it requires next to no cleaning and shortens the brew day. I struggle to get my finished 21L batch below about 29 degrees though so I just transfer to fermenter and stick it in the fridge to get to pitching temp.

Tried And Proven Low Carb Lager.

Can someone tell me, is 'normal' beer really that high carb or is it just marketing? How do you define 'high carb'? compared to what? And when you say you'd like to make an everyday beer that is 'a bit healthier'. Why would it be healthier? Is it not just a dietary thing, ie, you want to ingest...
