I have a 12V motor intended to power a push bike driving my mill. It works a treat, for years I battled with a drill but it's too hard to regulate the speed.
A motor gives you a nice slow and constant speed, while you do other things. :drinkingbeer:

I have had my Valley Mill for 13 years now and it's still going strong. One day it's has to stop as is has crushed tonnes of grain now.
Very tempted to jump in on this and put it away for a rainy day.
Well I racked a lager into secondary today and added Biofine, up until now I have added it to the keg. It was in CC for 3 days, I'll leave it another 4-5 days and keg.
I would like to see less of the muck in the first and last glasses.

I'm still using this 1-3 mix with 100% sodium percarbonate. I find it makes a great brewery cleaner, beer lines, kegs, glasses, anything and brings the B.M. up like new.
I believe it works heaps better than PBW.

This is how I brew with my 50lt BM, always have, and I have Beersmith set to this. I do sparge back to 55lt rather than just topping up but top up after the boil to 55lt.
