Ring of Scum - Cleaning Bottles

One scoop per 20-odd litres. I can weigh it tomorrow for you. I (try to) rinse all my bottles when I empty them, then just sanitise on bottling day. Usually find 5 or 6 that have somehow missed the rinse cycle and look nasty inside. An overnight soak in boiling percarbonate and they look...

    Fermzilla

Give it a hug. If you're trying to put it in a fridge with low clearance, handles on the top of the unit are going to be useless anyway.

    What’s your bad brewing habit?

    That's not a bad habit - that's mandatory!

    What’s your bad brewing habit?

Poor organisation/forgetfulness on brewday. Everything will be going well, then suddenly it's, "**** **** **** **** where's the CF chiller/I haven't cleaned the fermenter/etc," resulting in 5-10 minutes of frantic activity.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I just don't understand why people are surprised by IT issues in this day and age -- I'd be more surprised if it had worked correctly.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Like most modern IT systems, I don't think I'd rely on it. At least now you all know that if you want one from the next batch, the way to get it is to sit there refreshing, rather than wait for an email.
