    Sickly sweet taste after kegging

I've never rinsed after using sodium percarbonate. Not even back when I used it, and only it.

1927 Coopers Sparkling Ale recipe... and table sugar!

Some of that time will be reduced due to the better mashing grains available these days.

By my arithmetic you'd need a 32A outlet, and associated wiring. Whether you chose 3 phase or single phase 32A, it's not going to be cheap.

Definitely be interested in it if had built in 12v/240v like most 4wd fridges. I haven't watched the webinar; is there any reason you couldn't make it take 9.5L cornies instead of 8L mini kegs? It would open up a much wider market.

    Grain storage strategy

Start by looking at what malt(s) you use the most of, usually base malt(s). Look at what recipes you brew at what time of year, how many times each, and therefore how much of each grain type you anticipate using in the coming X months. Then try to coordinate your purchasing around that.

Put diagonal stripes behind it (painted or however works for you. When you look at the stripes through the sight glass, they will obviously appear a bit wonky. If there is water present in the sight glass the stripes will be reversed, up to the level of the water.

Offer it like you do kegerators, with a choice. Bare bones, 1 tap, 2 taps, etc --> bare bones, cfc, immersion.

    5l mini keg question

If it's going to be gone in one sitting, why bother? You still have to open all the stubbies. Just drinking them saves washing the keg, too.

    5l mini keg question

You could, but it's not recommended. The beer will likely oxidize, and spoil the flavour. 5 litres is only half a slab -- you should be able to knock that over tonight  and be ready to fill you new keg tomorrow (assuming you have something in a larger keg to transfer into it).

You need to check these. Some of the new books still have the Malt picture on the books page. Pictures are OK in the actual item page, but the description is still for the Malt book. URLs also don't match the item. Specifcally...

no chill into white plastic fermenter?

I don't personally recall, no. Bit before my time ;). From the early 70s, maybe late 60s era. I have his old fermenter which was made in the early 70s (month/year of manufacture is moulded into the base); and he did a few batches before that in a bucket with a tea towel over the top. Copied...

no chill into white plastic fermenter?

My grandfather did what we would now call BIAB back in the day. A couple of sheets of cheesecloth stitched together by my grandmother (the top tied shut with garden twine), and using the Fowlers Vacola boiler as his single vessel. No sparge.

Can u Brew With Un-Malted Barley

The enzymes can be gotten from other sources too. A few years ago I got to try a brew made with NO malted grains . The enzymes came from bananas added to the mash , which from memory took about 24 hours o_O! The resulting brew tasted....of bananas.
