One of the biggest problems is your neighbours won't want a brewery next to them , as they will argue it will lower their property value, increase traffic, increase noise and smells, trucks won't have room and cars won't have parking, you would be lucky to get it through. Then there's the waste...

I found it interesting the yeast costs $125 per brew. At 4 brews per week with 1776 L, that's $25000 per (50 week) year It would be good to know the breakdown. Yeast management is an area I think microbreweries could save money with some microbiology knowledge.

Not for everyone and it could probably contribute to the occasional myocardial infarction ( death by brewing) but just a thought.

There is a White Labs YouTube video where they compare Using Oxygen , not using it and shaking the **** out of the fermenter ( assuming approx. 22 L of wort ) pre yeast pitching. They found shaking the hell out of the fermenter for 10 mins was just as good as using Oxygen.

As this version is the biggest so far , I'm going to see if I can get it made in Australia. The manufacturers can make something on it when they get bigger ( like cars ) but that means the price might change.

It is true. AB/SABMILLER/InBev/Coors have acquired Northern Brewer / Midwest Supplies in the US. What is their motivation ? Taking on Coopers in homebrew and they see it as a growth market. How will this work with brew kits and the hops market as they will have massive power ?

You would think there would be a statement to the stock market if the deal was finalised. Or someone has leaked it before it's a done deal.
