I have inputted your recipe into Brewmate...... if you are using Brewmate to generate your recipe why are you not also following the brewday procedure ? To get a batch size of 20 litres why are you sparging to get 40 ish litres of wort ? Unless you are boiling off at the rate of 50% per hour...

Why would you want one that measures 40 Brix ? The one that measures up to 30 Brix would be more accurate,much easier to read.

You have an evaporation figure of 23% on your brewday sheet, probably double mine (12.6%) maybe this is where your problem is. The standard should fall between 5-15%.

Stefan, you can get your CO2 bottle refilled in Mandurah, Brewers Delight who are located in Reserve Drive. They are the second shop on the righthand side coming in from Mandurah Terrace just down from Bunnings. The owner - Ralph is a good guy always very helpful.
