    Inkbird IBT-2X Review

I've scoured the net for reviews of Inkbird products but theres hardly anything out there. A few posts on forums here and there, but thats about it. I've got 2 Inkbird temp controllers, an ITC-308 and ITC-310 and both work very well. I have just bought an Inkbird IBT-2X BBQ Thermometer and used...

    2018 Hop Plantations

My Fuggles seem to have stalled too. They burst out of the ground pretty quickly about 6 to 8 weeks ago but now are only 20cm or so up the first trellis. My Chinook has only just been able to be trained around the trellis rope. I've been giving them some Seasol or Thrive every couple of weeks...

I hate that question!! My response is always, "Whats the most you'll pay?"

    grain storage

Ive got some of those 60l boxes but there's no clips on the lid. It just sits there. I use them to store the christmas tree and clothes the kids have grown out of. I dont think they'd seal well enough for grain. For grain, I use maxi pails from Bunnings. A 25kg bag fits perfectly in 2 of them...

Counter Pressure Bottle filler (CPBF) techniques.

Yeah but the OP said his head space is filled with froth.

Counter Pressure Bottle filler (CPBF) techniques.

I think you'd lose more carbonation from the frothing up by filling at the higher pressure than from dropping the pressure to 5psi. But either way, I think the amount would be negligible.

    Drones

I've got a Parrot Bebop drone which is probably more of a flying machine first, camera platform second. The camera is front mounted and 1080p which is awesome. It's also got an app add on where you can program routes, camera angles, hover heights etc. It gets a bit nerve wracking when it flys...

    Smoking Meat...

Big W also had one for $249. A mate got one to replace an Aldi smoker and it seems a bit better quality than the Aldi job.

    Smoking Meat...

I missed out on the Aldi smoker this weekend so I ordered a ProQ Frontier from BBQs Galore. I really wanted a charcoal smoker but I thought gas would be sensible, hence the Aldi one... but screw it! Now I can play with fire!!

    Aldi specials

Newsflash, Sydney man buys crappy brewery and shed and makes the news

    Whats In The Glass

Little Fellas Pale Ale.. Little Creatures clone. Tried it side by side tonight and mines quite a bit lighter and more hops on the nose. Also mines a little thinner than the original but I let the mash drop a bit low so I can fix that. I just need to up the carb rate a bit and it'll be dam close.

    Aldi specials

I'm working on Saturday but am going to duck down at 8.30 to grab one! My missus is already salivating at the thought of what it will produce... guess I got a good one!

Newsflash, Sydney man buys crappy brewery and shed and makes the news

If hes got such an amazing setup which he uses to supply the Sydney crowd... why are all the photos of his equipment dragged out on the lawn rather than inside his shed?? Surely a set up brewery with milling area, bottling area etc would make for better pics than lawn ornaments.

You're forgetting the other piece of global news in this article... "Aussie bloke puts shed in back yard"... Unheard of! Stop the presses!!

Continuing Rant Thread - Get it Off Ya Chest here

PC has really gone mad when in this day of rampant obesity, Google implements a calorie counter into Google Maps and people complain about it. Apparently it is 'triggering for people who struggle with their weight'. So everyone else has to miss out because a handful might get upset...
