    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

Schneider Nelson Sauvin weizenstarkbier. This is more understated than Hopfenweisse and they serve it in wine glasses at the Weisses Brauhaus. Enjoyable beer, although I did miss the more aggressive hop character of the Hopfenweisse.

Anyone Got A Bottle Of Murrays Anniversary Ale 1 For Sale

Barls - Thanks. I appreciate the sentiment. Everyone - I've had a quick look at Utobeer at London Borough Markets and they've got a heap of stuff (esp English/Belgian Christmas ales) that you can't get in Aus. In regards to more unique bottles, I saw the following: (bottles are 750ml unless...

Anyone Got A Bottle Of Murrays Anniversary Ale 1 For Sale

Thanks for sharing my pain. :) I guess that I can count myself lucky that I'd found out about it before they necked the rest of them! They now have explicit instructions to keep the AA's (and a bottle of Hennessy Paradis) to one side.

Anyone Got A Bottle Of Murrays Anniversary Ale 1 For Sale

I just thought of another angle which I'd have to discuss with mates before I can offer 100%... If someone (with a bottle of Murrays AA1) is interested in buying a beer engine, perhaps I can arrange to get the beer engine back to Sydney in exchange for the beer? ie, You would buy the beer...

Anyone Got A Bottle Of Murrays Anniversary Ale 1 For Sale

Hi all, Last night I received a message from my brother that my family in Coffs had really enjoyed the bottle of Murrays Anniversary Ale that they had cracked the other night. Whilst I normally appreciate such feedback, the background to this is that I moved to England 8 weeks ago and had...

I stumbled across this Tetleys beer font... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...=STRK:MESELX:IT I brought it over from the UK a few years ago (airport security were a bit unsure about letting it on the plane as carry on luggage, however it wasn't on the banned list so I...

Beer Fridge With Andale Tap - Pick Up Nw Sydney

Hi all, I'm moving to England on Wednesday and just realised that I need to sell off some HB bits and pieces. I'm in a bit of a hurry at the moment so I don't have time to loook for exact dimensions, but you can see that it can easily accomodate 3 kegs. There is a hump at the back so I've...

Duvel Tripel Hop 9.5%. I shared this a few weeks ago with a neighbour. Duvel Tripel Hop was a limited edition beer made 3 years ago and lists Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Amarillo on the hop bill. There were some remnants of the hop character still present, however the maltiness was definitely...

Hmm... It appears that someone is selling off some bottles. :P http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=330458674812 I decided it was time to clean out the house because of the increasing likelihood that I'll be selling up and moving to Pomgolia. Whilst I didn't set out to build a...

    Who Rides A Motorcycle

Whilst I mentioned selling my bike a few years ago, it was merely a show to appease the wife. The time has now come to get serious about it. I had some interest 2 months ago when it was advertised for $5,500, however it wasn't running well (the problem has since been fixed). I want a quick...

    Whats In The Glass

Saison which was bottled in December. Nice maltiness. Still some lemony aroma from the Southern Cross hops. Flavour is a nice mix of hops and malt. Hints of tartness from the yeast.

    What Are You Brewing III

Grandma's Farm Ale (Saison) MkIII. My previous incarnation is drinking really well now that it has had a couple of months in the bottle (it took that time for the bitterness to mellow out). It has a nice tartness and good hop character - perfect for summer drinking. I need the latest...

Murrays Anniversary Ale 4. $34 a bottle at a great little USA bar off Oxford St. I also had Alpha Queen Pale Ale, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Mad Abbot Tripel, Trumer Pils and another beer or two. By the way, don't you hate it when the last guy in a round starts putting drinks on the...
