    Look at the video again. 8:24 water/wort can follow the threads to outside the kettle. Your O-ring isn't going to seal against the thread, only against the kettle wall. Follow this vid when you install. http://youtu.be/iKKWLRu7jdg?t=5s Good luck

    I'd be checking there isnt an issue with the temp controller, before investigating the freezer. Test it with some hot and cold water.

    How is the freezer temp controlled? STC-1000? A freezer shouldn't have any issues staying at 18c.

    You can get cheap foodsafe hose from Bunnings or Masters, or look at the little brown pumps that Kaiser mentioned.
