    Fermenter on top of fermentation keezer, keg underneath , I use a 13 mm clear line from hardware store sanitised with starsan, you need it long enough to reach over top of fermenter and down to bottom, with other end to bottom of keg.     Help Identify off flavor

    I tasted a hydro sample of a 150 lashes type beer 2 days ago that read 1012 at 7 days in using us05 at 19 , it had a little similar taste, did stand out to me, I ramped up to 21 to finish off which I normally do, and tonight at day 9 it's at 1010 and tastes clean as, standard mangrove jacks...

    I mashed mine at 64, used alittle accidualted malt and O2 . It's a monster yeast that's for sure... Hydro tastings were promising. Rye, addition sounds nice. I do like rye and have a sack. Care to share the receipe ?

    Not sure yet, mines ccing ATM, will be my first saison ,and will be into keg next week. Mine started at 1052, I fired this yeast up in a 1.5 ltr starter for 24 hrs first, pitched at 22 and let rise over first 24 hrs to 26. 4 days and was down to 1002. Wish I had access to some wyeast type...

    Ok, I've contacted the 2 suppliers, the one advertising the 11 mm thickness said they have the 7mm one in now and so will be updating their website. The other said its 7mm and they have been getting them in from gf company of that size. So it appears that they possibly used to have 11 mm...

    Looks like there could be an older and newer model coat out there. I'll call both suppliers tomm, one has it advertised with 7mm thickness and another supplier has it advertised as 11mm. I'll report back my findings

    As the title says, Anyone use one? What do you think of it, quality? Does it help with boil etc? Are they easy to put on and remove for cleaning etc? I was thinking of getting one for winter use especially. Cheers
