Kegmenter. Are they good to use?

Don't open them up at ambient temps, even after de-pressurisation once open the beer will volcano out and 1/4 keg lost before it settles and due to the co2 rushing out of the beer at ambient, it's very hard to clamp the lid on while keeping the seal in place. Lol. I use one for lagers and my...

White Labs WLP059 Melbourne Ale yeast to be released

That's awesome. I've sent Andrew an email to see how to get onto this order. I have a dozen original tooths tallie bottles from the 1st world war era, would love to mash the receipe and use the right yeast and bottle it up for special occasions. The high pressure lager yeast looks interesting...

    26L Kegmenter, any good?

I've looked in the flesh at these when I was down the coast a few weeks back ( no affiliation). They seem well built , nice size to pressure ferment a single 21 ltr batch for a corney. They are not to tall, I'll be getting one or 2 soon for single batches . I've been using 2 x keg king 50 ltr...

    First all grain smash

Looks nice, I regularly do an all nelson brew over summer, I also add 3-5%wheat to give nice creamy head but then it wouldn't be a smash. I do my receipe, in both ale with us05 and also lager version with s189, both come up great, I do like my lager version a tad better. Great hop
