Vic 2017 Xmas in July Case Swap

While I have no idea as to whether I'm working Saturday or as to when I might turn up, I'm happy to throw in a lobster or two if I arrive in time for a feed. Also happy to invest in a cube from the main brew and/or a 10l from the DB brew. I'll definitely be turning up to pick up the laundry...

Fire sprinkler head as wort return?

Was speaking to the sprinkler guy this morning and asked what pressure the sprinkler lines were at in the high rise apartments we're working on. He reckons 1200kPa at the lower levels and tapers off to about 1000kPa as it gets higher. You might struggle to achieve that from your pump! I use the...

Fire sprinkler head as wort return?

I imagine fire sprinkler systems are under considerable pressure to achieve the field of effect around the nozzles. I had a quick squiz at a box of them the fire blokes had lying about and the distance between the outlet and the deflector was significant. Not sure how they'd go with a low...

Vic 2017 Xmas in July Case Swap

Haha! It'd be a bit rude of me not too now! I was pretty disappointed to miss the Cockmeister's swap day. I'll do my best to attend this one but just as an attendee as I rarely brew atm. I work most Saturdays so will have to rock up late with over priced craft beer. Probably won't even have...

We use straight perc in a cold wash but, as Cam says, dissolve it in a bit of hot water first. Seems to work fine. Mind you I mix perc in cold water down the shed and still find it retains some decent cleaning properties.

BrewmaniacEx Next gen Brauduino with WiFi and Web front end

We can tag people in posts now? Cool. This thread is way above my pay grade MJ. Something that I'd love to get into at some stage. Can you upload the circuit diagram? Without knowing your wiring, I probably wouldn't be wiring any leds in series with a load. You'll likely pick up on the fact a...

Want to hear about ways to work with 10A outlet limits

If that's the case the options are grim. Be worth checking with a wholesaler jic though. Bunnings range is pretty slim.

Want to hear about ways to work with 10A outlet limits

At a glance it looks like you have 3 lighting circuits (1,2,3) and two power (4,5). Plus plug-in CBs for your stove and hot water. If you know a sparky it wouldn't cost much to replace the ceramic ones with the correct rated plug-ins but technically this shouldn't be done by a licensed person as...
