The controller dose not support cooling mode, only heating. Shame only cooling required.

I have replaced the post orings and food grade lubed them. Like new and no lost gas.

I have a single controller 40 amp SSR. I use to run my HERMS on 3 Vessel system. Also use it on my 2 vessel system AKA Biab. Very easier to use and store can take it on the road.

Lid on for me after the boil, whirlpool and steep. Keeps the nasties out of the wort. I have had no ill effects. You could wrap with aluminum foil ??
