I forgot all about a Beligan Doule I cubed in 13-6-2020 22 ltrs and a 1 ltr cube total 23 ltrs.
I have cube many more since and just forgot about it.

I pitched Abbey yeast a new pkt and an old pkt expiry 9-2022 and 9-2019.
I hope it all goes well, should.

Be interesting to see if it has oxidised a bit in that time as cubes aren't impervious to oxygen.
Will await your update.

Should be fine. I've had cubes well over 2 years without any noticeable loss of anything. YMMV

In fact I had 2 cubes of a dark Lager and one of them was 3-3.5 years in the cube and it came out tasting exactly like the first cube.

Ahh i have reread your quote now when puzzled why it was good krausen and a nice smell, realise it was a belgian dubbel wort in the shed for a year, not a belgian dubbel in a cube for a year.
Promising signs so far.
