1st stout - fermentation too low!

I would be taking it off the yeast and cold crashing. As a matter of interest did you try rousing the yeast?

    What’s your bad brewing habit?

I broke a hydrometer once, since buying 2 spare years ago I haven't broken another one since.

KK - 'Fermentasaurus' conical PET fermenter

I dry hop with the nylon tea bags 3,4 or 5 depending on the amount of hops, purged in the keg with the CO2 . Keeps the hops contained while releasing the flavour. https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?...0.Xtea+bags.TRS0&_nkw=empty+tea+bags&_sacat=0

    1. No one has ever claimed the snub nose is a uni tank. 2. I add hops to the second snubby which is purged and sterile. (2 snubbies $140 with pressure kits) 3. I honestly cannot see the reasoning in adding trub to a fermenter to take it out again. 4. Yeast isn't going anywhere, make it...

    Fermzilla

It would seem FermZilla with a capital Z is the way Keg Land spells it I haven't seen it written like that by the original poster or any of the contributors to the thread. Only awfulknauful can answer whether he is likely to buy the Guten, at the price I don't see why not, especially after he...

Thats what I thought on his initial posts, hes the only one who could spell FermZilla correctly.:) For a small cost the Guten can be upgraded too.

Yes I know they sell them but prefer pick up.

Good question, unless the pressure kit is included with the Fermzilla for the extra money Guten S/steel would be my choice. I am using 2 snub nose Fermentasaurus at the moment 2 for $140 and that included the pressure kits.

When I say neighbour he isn't next door, he's down the road it takes two of us to lift it into the car and drive it down there, it is so bloody heavy. Where did you source your cans I could go 1,000 as it will be split between the two of us. Are you getting any wastage?

All About Canning - Cannular Can Seamers and More...

I am starting to agree with your way of thinking, the amount of posters at the beginning saying they were going to get one seems to have disappeared. Could have been spin coming from KL, I am happy with my purchase, (apart from the weight) I will source my own cans if I have to.

    Fermenting Under Pressure

I can see your point, there are two different thoughts on this approach, but it did all start from one source so I guess they do, rightly or wrongly belong in the same thread. More wrong than right.

All About Canning - Cannular Can Seamers and More...

Well my neighbour finished off all of our cans, he went with naturally carbonated cans for this batch as suggested by booyablack. It is a slow process but fun to be able to come up with your own cans at a get together. The biggest problem we have had is moving the damn machine between each...

I can see the dent, can't see any scratches, could it be vacuum that has caused the dent? Maybe some warm water could draw it out.

The 'amazing hop spider' weighing in at 80 micron is waaay to small there has been lots of discussions on many sites and the general consensus is 300 micron to be the best. 80 micron - 0,08 mm 300 micron - 0,3 mm
