    Cold crashing after dry hopping

Not entirely sure but some people recommend dry hopping while cold crashing. This makes me think that is shouldn't have a negative impact.

    Aldi specials

Good for food. For brewing maybe not so much as I'm pretty sure the elements are in the shelves.

    STC 1000 build!

Looks pretty neat, and a lot neater than some you see in lunchboxes or cardboard boxes. One suggestion, if you moved the cable coming out if the side to another side you could stand it up so the display is easier to see.

    Beerkat - Kegs & Growlers

They pump air. Only intended to be used to dispense beer when you'll be drinking it all in short time - not long enough for oxidation of beer to be an issue.

    First ever kettle sour

She's right if you're going to take a measurement and then calculate how much to add. If you're just going to add a predetermined amount you can just add at mash in.

    First ever kettle sour

I add the lactic acid at mash in. There's a couple of recent threads on kettle sours with lots of tips and step by steps. Have a search but let us know if you can't find them

Toowoomba QLD Town Water any good for brewing ?

Toowoomba town water was recently judged the best in the country. Plenty of award winning brews have been brewed with it. @crowmanz did a great talk on water chemistry at our last brew club meeting so can probably elaborate

    Beer Tap Quality question.

Yes, cheap ones are that bad. Buy quality, but once when it comes to taps.

Couple of hot days in Melbourne

Inkbird special on now as per their other thread. I've got a few STC's but am looking to get the ITC310 which can be programmed for stepped fermentation profiles. Should be good for lagers and belgians.

2017 Christmas Case Swap at pcqypcqy's - Stanthorpe SEQ 2nd Decemb

Also would be a good idea for guys not in the swap but attending to add themselves to the bottom of the spreadsheet if they want to go in on the $10 communal dinner.

2017 Christmas Case Swap at pcqypcqy's - Stanthorpe SEQ 2nd Decemb

Yeah, as MP said it's pretty unlikely that we'll have the full 24 so even if you can't make it if you're still keen to be in the actual swap someone can probably take your beers down and back. The closer we are to 24 swapper the better I reckon, more different beers to try. At least then you can...
