    Cold Weather Brewing

G'day Voosher, I haven't brewed it yet. The HBS recommended Muntons Connoissers Wheat Beer as the Base. I assumed (probably wrongly) that i would need to use K97? Whilst on the topic, what temps do you recommend for a Wheat Beer?? Thanks Pointy

    Cold Weather Brewing

Guys, I am looking at brewing a wheat style beer (Leffe Blond). I have been told that i need to brew at around 25 to 27 degrees to bring out the flavour of the beer. I have a mashmaster temp controller and a fermentation fridge, however, i am struggling to keep it at temps this high. Short of...

    Leaking Fermenter Taps......

Guys, I have the same problem with a really slow leak on the fermenter tap. Brew was put down last night and the airlock seems to be bubbling OK. Should the CO2 being produced protect the beer from infection? I intend to rack on Saturday. Thanks Pointy

    The 2006 Nsw Homebrewing Championships

Hi, According to the posts, the 2007 NSW Comp will be held in March. Where will it be held? And will it be advertised anywhere? Is it open to all brewers (K&K, AG,etc)? Could anyone tell me if any K&K recipes did well or are the comps more suited to AG Brewers? Thanks Pointy

    James Squires Pilsner

Hi Guys, I'm after some ideas on a Kit and Kilo (will be using hops additions and decent fermentables and a good yeast) to make something similar to James Squires Pilsner. I've got an IPA down at the moment but have just scored the Mashmaster Temp controller so it's time for some cooler brewing...

    Kegging Setups

G'day Doc, I've just picked up the exact same fridge as this one (minus the kegging gear). Are you able to give me any tips or advice on how best to convert my(this model) fridge into a kegging set-up. I will probably only have one tap initially so i'm thinking that offsetting it to one side to...
