    Ronin Yes i seen that thread. I was thinking more along the lines of 1/2 a cup or so of the yeast cake. DrSmurto i will keep that in mind will just have to read up on it. Cheers Rob

    Tannins

    I Have recently done a batch which i think has the taste of tannins. Would it be worth using some 5.2ph stabilizer? I usualy do double batch sparges and i think my 2nd sparge is washing out the tannins from the grain. Does that sound correct? Next brew ill adjust the way i sparge and see if...

    My Cherry Popper.........

    Ive only done 2 x AG brews around the 23ltr mark. I got my temp prob mounted on the side wall about 1/2 way up. Ive mashed in at 66deg C and after 60minutes it has only dropped to 65. Cheers Rob
