    whats peoples opinions please in regards to using just tap water in regards to your top up water.am actually wondering if its got something to do with the chlorine.thinking of maybe boiling the top up water and then once its cooled down putting it in another 20l bucket till adding to the wort...

    hi guys have opened a couple bottles of black rock nz draught that i have had down for a couple weeks,they have been kept out of the sun and were actually very clear in the bottle but after opening them and having the 1st taste still had a bit of the old home brew tang taste to it just wondering...

    keeping it cool during the day with a wet towel round it been brewing around 22 mark but still to hot and its a lot worse inside at least there its getting the breeze.really wanted to put a lager together next but not in this heat

    cheers yes thats the problem over here keeping the bloody temperature down and cant afford a fridge and the fridgemate and only just starting so getting the "your not spending that this was meant to be cheap" carry on at moment hahaha

    cheers beer garden yes hadnt thought of fridge might be on the look into list,have added towel round it to keep it cool and isnt to bad at moment still runs to 18degrees overnight even tho
